Here’s what’s going on around DKMP.
CGA Radio has put up show #56! Go there to listen to another hour of video game goodness!
Naked Linux has posted a little tutorial on how to get the wireless card in a HP Pavilion 7010 in Ubuntu Edgy. This may also help others with a Broadcom card, but your results may vary.
Finally, DK Media Productions and it’s projects have a new central forum! Go to the forum link to the left and register to participate!
The links to both Gaming with Tux and Naked Linux are now working so go check them out!
So what’s been happening here at DKMP? Well let’s take a little look shall we?
The crew at CGA has been continuing their hour of video game goodness with CGA Radio #54. Also #53 is now up on the CGA Radio website and not just the feeds.
Some Fiesty Fawn updates and Alpha releases have been reported on over at Naked Linux. Expect further updates as the newest Ubuntu release get closer to it’s final date.
And last but most definitely not least, DK Media Productions and all it’s projects are now under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 2.5 license. You will find a link to the legal deed at the bottom of every main page of every project now. What does this mean to you? Well the definition on the CC page is:
“…This license is often called the “free advertising” license because it allows others to download your works and share them with others as long as they mention you and link back to you, but they can’t change them in any way or use them commercially. ”
Basically all the writing on the websites, audio, or anything else DK Media Productions produces is now freely distributable as long as DKMP is mentioned and linked to. No changes may be made without the written permission of the owner of DK Media Productions. To receive permission, email darkknight at dkmediaproductions dot com.
